Joseph Iano is an architect whose experience includes practice, teaching of design and technology, coauthorship of several major textbooks on building systems, and development of web-based team collaboration services. Iano is founder of Amphion Communications, a Seattle firm that provides technical consulting and communications services to architects and others in the design and construction industry.Edward Allen has taught for more than thirty years as a faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Yale University, and as an invited guest at institutions in the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and a recipient of the that organization's prestigious Topaz Medallion for excellence in architectural education. He has designed more than fifty constructed buildings and influenced the teacing of an entire generation of building science and technology instructors.
